In the challenging year of 2025, Gallery Choi presents artist Jumeen Kim’s solo exhibition, full of boundless lyricism that harmoniously coexists with nature—an expression of pure freedom.

During her journey, the artist transforms the scenes she encounters into layered memories, conveying through the rich texture of thick oil paint the emotional materiality she wishes to preserve. Through this, she invites the viewer into the essential world of painting she has long dreamed of—one filled with wonder, humility, and contemplation of the relationship between humankind and nature.

The artist’s square canvases, born from this dense layering of paint, transcend visual representations to offer tactile experiences of color.
